Royd Landis

What can one say about Floyd Landis, other than, "not while I'm eating please".

For the non-cycling reader, that doesnt understand the whole time line... Floyd (who shall now be referred to as 'Royd') was one of Lance's leutinents on USPS/Discovery. Royd eventually ended up going to Phonak, to captain his own team.



The 2006 Tour de France saw Royd lose several minutes, to his rival, on stage 16. Subsequently, on stage 17, Royd went out on a solo break, and putting enough time into his opponents, to allow Royd to reacquire the yellow jersey. Well, seems Royd had a bit of help. Doping control found Royd's blood to be a bit tainted, with EPO, at the very least.



After several court appearances, and legal manuevers, Royd was stripped of the tour victory, and was suspended through January of 2009.



Well... Royd re-appears, and low and behold, finally admits to racing dirty. Royd wasn't happy with just being proven to being a lieing sack of cow crap, but decided he'd throw some shit about, and see what stuck...



Now some of the persons that Royd suggests raced dirty, I can believe, to a degree. The persons he has implicated in this mess, that I will never believe took the needle are Lance (post cancer), Dave Z, or George Hincappie.


To Royd I say.... Hope someone bashes in your face with a chunk of lumber.
